Launched in 2013 as the Newmarket Jazz Festival, and subsequently renamed as the Newmarket Music Festival, this organization seeks to stimulate and support York Region’s creative culture by collaborating and partnering with as many arts/cultural sectors as possible; by creating community festivals including all music genres, all forms of arts, media, word, theatre; by fostering positive social, creative cultural and community contact and impact; by providing showcase, learning and interactive activities for local youth, members of our diverse cultural mosaic, seniors and families; by creating attractive, interactive, vibrant community events to be enjoyed by everyone in our Region.
