YRGSA North is a youth-run group, based in Newmarket, for LGBTTIQQ2SA youth and their Allies. We operate in partnership with the YRGSA (York Region Gay-Straight Alliance) group based in Richmond Hill. (Prior to January 2014, we were known as 'Fusion York Region') .
Our group is open to all youth in the York Region community and its goal is to make York Region a more open and safe space to live in. This is a NO HATE group and any homophobia or other form of discrimination will not be tolerated. YRGSA is a fun way to meet new, passionate people and to make a difference.
We meet at the Newmarket Youth & Recreation Centre (Charles St, Newmarket) on the first Thursday of each month - between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
