| York Region's LGBT organizations, including GayYorkRegion.com, will be participating in the Toronto Pride parade for the second time, this coming Sunday (28th June). Last year we only marched in the parade but this year we will have a float!
We will also have a community booth on Alexander Street, on both Saturday and Sunday. Please stop by and say hello!

| This weekend, history was made on two counts - the first time ever that there has been a York Region float in the pride parade and the first time we have operated a community booth at Toronto Pride.
14 people formed our parade group as we sailed our float in yesterday's pride parade, some in our boat and some on foot. Other volunteers were involved in preparing and decorating the float, as well as running our community fair booth on Alexander St.
Over the next week or so, videos will be made available online covering not only our participation in Toronto Pride, but also all of the York Pride Fest pride week events.
